Join Elke for a standing yoga series with an elevated view of the beautiful Petawawa River. Followed by a guided meditative walk through lush forest trails, then close the morning out with a guided meditation down by the river.
Wear comfortable and loose clothing, hiking shoes, sunblock and bugspray. Bring an outdoor yoga mat if you have one or a towel or blanket to sit or stand on.
Meet at 9:45 at 175 Rantz Rd, Petawawa. Yoga starts at 10 nearby. Closing meditation ends near parking lot.

Elke's personal yoga practice draws on many types of yoga including Hatha, Bhakti, Restorative, Kundalini and Yin Yoga from her inspiring teachers. Elke practices daily meditation, mantra, movement, and spends time in the woods with her dog, Suni.
The first step in the healing process is awareness.

Awareness creates the space for acceptance and surrendering into the present moment allows for more peace, happiness, and ease to flow into our body.
Letting go and surrendering can be one of the most challenging practices in grief.
Tapping into your body's inner strength and awareness allows fear, anger, sadness, doubt to move through you.
Your body always speaks the truth you can release negative thoughts and feelings through the Grief Yoga exercises and techniques using movement, breath and sound.
