Learn the basics of yoga principles from the comfort abd safety of your home with Elke through Zoom. 


Join us every Monday morning at 9:30am EST and every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm EST for your very own private practice. You can choose whether to practice with your camera on or off and can be practiced from mat or chair or even your bed.  


Video replays are uploaded and available weekly on my private YouTube channel.


Allow Elke to guide you through breathing and stretching  to make you feel happier, to release stress and also bring the body and mind into harmony. Classes approximately 30 mins in length.

Meditation has been used for centuries to soothe tension of the mind and to bring more balance to the body as well as promoting more creativity, sleep and adds so much more to your wellbeing.

Do you or someone you know need a little extra support when it comes to overcoming grief and trauma? Elke will guide you through  a supportive grief and trauma yoga class once a month to help ease the pain and suffering of grief and trauma. Can be practiced from a chair, mat, or even your bed.


Online Grief Yoga classes are held on the last Thursday of the month at 7:00pm EST. 

Begins Thursday, January, 28 at 7:00pm EST. Classes are approximately 60 mins in length , are not recorded and not available for replay.

About Elke

500 Hour Advanced Hatha Yoga Teacher

Elke's personal yoga practice draws on many types of yoga including Hatha, Bhakti, Restorative, Kundalini and Yin Yoga from her inspiring teachers. Elke practices daily meditation, mantra and movement to vibrate the soul and the cosmos.

Compassionate Leader

Elke declared sharing her love and expression of yoga as her personal mission in life after moving out of negative self talk and unhealthy old patterns. Today, Elke is passionate about inspiring others to try a daily gratitude and/or meditation practice, and promotes the importance of Self Love and care. It is through these devotional practices of that we all can find true happiness and reconnect with others through compassion and peace and inspire others to bring positive change throughout the world. 

Certified Grief and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher

Canada's first and only Certified Grief Yoga and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher. 


Elke's own struggle with trauma and grief started after a long bout with depression after losing six family members and friends over fifteen months brought her to seek healing through Yoga and meditation. Elke believes in the importance of sharing Yoga through grief and difficult times because of Yoga's gift of emotional and physical liberation.

Awareness

The first step in the healing process is awareness. 


By becoming more open to presence through breathing and movement, we can develop a deeper wisdom into what the body is telling us and enhance our intuition. 


Awareness creates the space for acceptance and surrendering into the present moment allows for more peace, happiness, and ease to flow into our body.

Expression

Letting go and surrendering can be one of the most challenging practices in grief. 


Tapping into your body's inner strength and awareness allows fear, anger, sadness, doubt to move through you.  


Your body always speaks the truth you can release negative thoughts and feelings through the Grief Yoga exercises and techniques using movement, breath and sound.
